Gates Racing T142RB timing belt - brand new!

Post by Rob_Cool1 » Wed May 07, 2014 7:28 am

Hi guys, I bought this belt for my car after being told by loads of companies that it would fit and its too small lol so as I can't send it back to America il sell it on here for someone else to use lol.

It's brand new still but has a few grease marks where I was holding it matching it to my old belt but other than that there's nothing wrong with it :)

Looking for £45 posted, cost me £65 in all to get it shipped over.

Cheers everyone :)
Rob

Hey Rob, you might want to specifiy what car it's designed for and why it wouldn't fit yours :)

Because he has odd size cam gears etc? And if it was ordered for a standard 2nd gen Prelude, why would it fit others? ;-)

He has standard cam gears on it again now :hurr: (or one at least  )

I think what he's saying is he was told it was for a 2g with his engine, but it's turned out that it isn't for a 2g with his engine, so he doesn't know what models it is for and is just advertising under the manufacturers part number?

Rob, you could try looking it up on something like allparts.cc and see if you can cross-reference the part number to car manufacturer/models. (Or do Gates have an online catalogue maybe???)

I thought that would all be better coming from him since he's selling it, but you've gone and ruined that now!
