Megan Racing Rear Strut Brace

Post by NafemanNathan » Mon Jun 24, 2013 9:10 pm

Due to the fact I am now a proud owner of a Tram Road Motors Special rear strut brace harness bar, my beautifully crafted Megan rear strut brace is now up for sale.

Imported from the States, the bar is CNC'd aluminium and anodised in a titanium colour. The bar itself is also in mint condition. The mounting rings are in pretty good condition, but as you may well know, when the nuts are tightened down the rings actually bend to suit the shape of the shock-tower. This is absolutely fine as they are secure, but it does mean the paint creases slightly. However, the creases are mostly hidden by the nuts anyway and because of their locations they are very hard to see anyway. There is also very very slight surface corrosion on the nuts, but it is minimal, I'm just being honest.

I had it fitted to my 4th gen, but going by the fact Tram Road's braces fit both 4th gens and 5th gens, the theory should apply to this as well.

I'm after a nice round £50 ono. I imagine postage would be about a tenner due to it's size.

Just looked on the site and it doesn't say either way Graham :? Sorry.

It does confirm it will fit both the 4th and 5th gen though.

Just been searching @Indigolemon and there are a few 4WS 4th gen owners that claim to have one fitted, like this guy...

Cheers for checking man, had a look in my boot earlier and realised the amp I fitted would be right in the way. Games a bogey for me :(
