I have the same issue. The needle bearings and shell are the only pieces I cannot remove. :x

They have loads of good feedback, so I wouldn't worry at all nafe, just go for it.

If the rebuild kit of £35 anyway, it's a total no-brainer IMO.
Fronts worth doing yourself, but rears..? At that price, nah, not worth the aggro.

If you were in the market for the rebuild kit then yes you picked the best option,2 yr warranty aswell.

I wasn't rebuilding mine at the time but did try to source the piston on it's own and it was expensive plus i am on a good basis with the Honda wreckers near me so if there was issues after the 3 months warranty they give on used parts they'd see me right.

Plus it will be nice to fit them in there and just reminisce of the job that was nearly at hand 8-)

Looks like the price was too good to be true... They've now put their prices up from £105 (with £15 back on returning the old ones) to...

Glad I got in there when I did... Although it may have been my purchase that made them realise their mistake :D :hurr:

I've bought a repair kit for the fronts, but I bought the fully refurbished rears this thread is about.
