Those arch extenders pressuming they're the ones you got off me will look great if done right, but you'll still have to cut the arches out.

Those tyres are 225/45.

The J and JJ are just different types of bead lips on the rim...

Thinking about it I might have the arches done before I get the wheels

Yeah I thought about that but too much stretch can be dangerous so I've read, but 225 on 9" rim should have a nice subtle stretch and with the arch work should fit, my et is 25 though working it all out and it really all depends on how far the arches can be rolled ie how much more clearance I can gain :)

225's on 9" will be fine. I would even call it a stretch at all...

Trouble with the rear arches is there really isn't much to pull out. If you put your fingers up under the arch you'll feel where the outer skin joins the inner skin. It's the inner skin that will prevent you pulling the arches out as much as you'll want to and that's what I said earlier about having to cut the inner skin to separate it from the outer skin. You can then pull the outer skin out more. You'll then have to fill the gap you've created with new metal.

Also remember tyres play a part as some have squarer shoulders than others and some run wider than others. My Ad08s on my Lude are very square to the dont appear stretched.

This is 235/50/17 on my 17x9.5" But its my van and the tyre fitted struggled to fit them smoothly.

And the lude which you can see rolled and pulled a tad.

Well I've been looking and 225 on a 9"'rim isn't much of a stretch all depending on tyres,so im thinking maybe 215,I want slight stretch but nothing too major ;) is there any tyre out there that is good for this ?

400bhp on stretched rims, good choice. Dibs on your car after you wrap it and are left in a wheel chair. :?

Seriously bud, I like you I dont want you to be dead so run slightly skinnier wheels that fit properly with the proper tyres on and enjoy the car.

Imo of course

Abd if anyone says that "they do it in the states" I will stab them in the shitter next time I see them, yhey have nice smooth roads and better weather
