that is an interesting one....
i thought all F22B's were BA8 chassis and not BB4 and all BB4's were H22a Vtec :?

The advert does say around 240bhp so its probably just a rough comparison to what kind of bhp on other cars that he can keep up with if you get me :)

Manaual F22/BA8 with chipped ecu might still be quick ;)
looks quite good imo

Essentially the BA8 chassis is the same as a BB4, so he could just be confused if he hasn't read his vin plate, or its had an engine swap and downgraded. He seems to know the F22b is the lesser compression model.

A BA8 will pretty much keep up with a BB4 until vtec kicks in Yo, but you won't get 240bhp out of one, even with a chipped ecu and an £800 exhaust system.

Not sure I've heard of a chip for a BA8 either, so there's also a chance he's just plucked the F22b engine code out of the air as well and it is actually sporting an h22.

All speculation of course.

according to some websites the BA8 chassis is 30kgs lighter than the BB4 :)

a pic of the engine block number and vin plate and chassis number on firewall would clear up any confusion
