That's what we've been saying about Ludes for ages...
It still isn't happening unfortunately! The 3g is the only one that is perhaps on the verge of entering classic circles (for some reason they've skipped 1g and 2gs). Perhaps because of similarity in style to nsx's?
And in 5 years time, that 5g still won't be worth £5k.

Tim owned the best/most valuable lude in the country, IMO and even he couldn't get close to that for his :(

The classic term is no longer a rolling thing, in terms of tax anyway, it's pre1973 and that's it. :(
But yeah, some insurance companies will offer a classic policy, from my experience their definition seems to differ though.

its 15-20 years old,

but the insurance company has to consider it a classic

I had the lude on classic insurance for a year, it was great

year after they changed their mind, now back on normal insurance

Classic is an over used term IMO. Anything old is deemed classic/vintage/retro these days because it's back 'in', so it sells.
Hell, even crappy old cars fetch good money if they are clean, just for reminding people of their childhood.

Lude Dude has said exactly what I mean about insurance policies for 'classics' - It differs between insurers. I've had pretty much the same situation as him over the years.
Bear in mind I've had my lude 13 years though, so it's been an everyday common car, daily driver, modified car, old car, classic car etc all throughout my ownership

:( :D :( :D

The Ratty giveth, the Ratty taketh away.....

Some things do remain constant however, such as the gravitational pull of the 5th gen headlights. :P :D
