Post by Prelude danny » Thu Oct 01, 2015 9:13 pm

Been looking at insurance today, went with Adrian flux but a couple of friends have tried a company called: footman James

Very cheap and only deal with cars 15yrs old or over!
So ideal for all or most of us on here

Just hope you never need to claim.

Look at that credit mark up, and they can't spell. Honestly I wouldn't trust them with a 15 year old remote car.

Not used them, but they've been around a good while.

I take it the FJ quote is in a classic car policy? Do you get NCB, is it limited mileage, do they cover modified cars?

On a classic car policy, doesn't ask for no claims which is the down side, they ask how many miles a year

In which case you will lose any NCB you have after 2 years as Classic Car policies are nett rated and don't take it into account.

This only becomes a problem if you ever buy a newer car.

I was hoping to wind wurly up about American spellings

But is no one else seriously shocked at the markup for monthly instalments?
