What do you think of this front bumper?

Post by vanzep » Sat Jan 25, 2014 2:26 pm

Im still mulling over various option for a front bumper for my BB4.
The custom bumper with spoon lip got damaged recently and im not going to repair it - Ive fitted a standadrd front bumper and oem lip but dont really like the look of it....

So I saw this on ebay and liked the look of it and the price is ok

Option i have are:

Standard oem bumper with oem lip
Standard oem bumper with spoon lip
New front bumper as shown in link

Of the options given, option 2 would be my choice. Really not a fan of the eBay one, but it's not my lude!

Avoid cheap fiber glass bumpers, they fit badly.

You can put a 4th gen top part on a 5th gen one, looks really good to me, got to find a picture.

The best set up for a 4th gen is OEM bumper with Accord lip, imo.

Its not bad. As far as OTT bumper go this one is nice. I think i still prefer the OEM bumper & spoon lip though.

as far as bodykit bumpers go that's not too bad but I would put the spoon lip on an oem bumper even though I am not a fan of spoon lips don't like they way they splay out at the ends

That's not the worst chav bumper I've seen and it would go better with your Euro sides than the Spoon lip does.

... Or do you have you Mugen's fitted yet?

Mugen sides fitted atm IIRC, which don't work as well with the rear spats and spoon front lip, as the euro sides did, imo.
