Cant suss it out!
There are 4 studs from the number plate holder, that go through into the rear panel of the car.
The studs are welded to the number plate holder, so they can't be undone from that side.
On the inside of the boot, the bottom 2 studs have ordinary hex nuts on them, which can be undone.
The top 2 studs go into what look like riv-nuts.
WTF? You can't undo the stud from the outside and you can't under a riv-nut.
How the hell do you get it off?!
The one on my 3g is all wibbly-wobbly so I want to replace it with the one off my breaker, but don't know how to get either of them off at the mo...
Anyone removed one before?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.
