I also have 0AWG going through my car from engine bay to the boot. It's for my amps. Was easy enough to install. My fuses are rated at 100A

Yer another point. My battery was originally in the front and I used 0awg for the amps on the boot.

I moved the battery and just left the cable that was for the amps to use as the starter/charging cable.

i run 0AWG aswell, the slight extra bit of weight vs smoldering pile of metal and carbon i know which i'd go for!

I am riding with ratty on this. If you already have it in place then its a 'not broke dont fix' situation.

@phil: I bought just the same cable as you for just the same job and got it given back with a smile is all I can base my choice on buddy. I still have 5m of 0awg cable in the shed if anyone wants it? :lol:
