I can't reveal a price as I caught him on a "promotional offer", but he is incredibly well priced as standard anyway. I can disclose that he's currently advertising his services for £25 an hour (plus paint and materials) as that's what he advertises on his website at the moment, but he now has about 4 or 5, or maybe even more cars booked in after mine due to this. He has I think it was 16 years experience, but he's just starting out on his own and therefore needs to drum up the business, hence his practically half-any-other-body-shop's labour rate.

I will reserve judgement for after its finished.
Does he have an over/spray booth? What paint and lacquer does he use.

Nafe, just wondering, how comes the drivers tail light cluster panel is being painted, but the pass isn't?

 No problem ;-)

I couldn't say Scott, I just know when he was talking paint and primer I had know idea what he was talking about  Also he's desperate to move to a new much larger premises so he can have his dedicated spray booth.

Can't answer that for him either Iain. Could be a number of reasons. Surprised you didn't pick up on the fact he's also masked off the bonnet as well ;-)
What Mike wrote:you'll note from the pictures i haven't primed the bonnet, that's because when i was degreasing the car ready for masking i found some more areas that requires filler and i was running out of time as i really wanted the primer on before it got too late. so i'll be doing that tomorrow.
