Im actually selling my house

Post by W1ggz » Fri Apr 26, 2013 7:46 am

Well after 5 years in our house we have finally got it up for sale ive spent the last few weeks doing jobs that i hadnt finished from when we moved in 5 years ago, painting skirting boards and finishing grouting tiles.
We havent found anywhere to buy as yet as theres space at the in laws so we can become cash buyers and not be in a chain.
That and theres no big garges for sale in my area with a house near by
~Im trying not to move out of portishead as this is where my business is but its stupidly expensive my 2 bed is £169995
Heres a link to mine if anyone knows someone looking for a 2 bed in portishead slim chance but you never know

Told you you'd sell it in no time :) Compared to so many for sale ads, yours looked like one classy joint ;-) lets hope the new one scrubs up as well :D

Fantastically fast :-) Congrats! for me it all hinges on how good your/their solicitor is for a nice pain free process. If you prod your solicitor nicely on a regular basis to make sure they are extracting all the necessary bits it makes the chain smoother. Make sure they aren't dealing with a clueless admin at the other end who is asking for your gas certification 3 times a week. Can happen if your buyer or the owner of place you want to buy does the old 'dial-a-solicitor' from the phone book'. Happened to me, thank god my guy was up to the job. Also, if you get someone local it is handy as you can drop in to go through things and drop off important paperwork rather than have to courier every 5 mins.
Hope all goes well, can be a bloody stressful time, but first major hurdle done!
