That would stiffen it from twisting. Is it suggested they bend upwards? I'd be very surprised at that!

they are trying to tie the two arms together twisting of one arm or the other isn't the issue its the whole wishbone they are trying to stop from flexing.
If you want to understand it get hold of a rear wishbone grip the two ends (sounds like a night with ratty and nitin) and twist. fillets will not stop the two arms from from flexing

I still don't have the car back but work is happening. The guy who is building it had been in the hospital so work had to stop for a while. I am going up to to see it on Saturday with the aim for it to be finished by Tuesday/Wednesday. The pics I have so far:

Moving the fuse box out of the way

Some of the points where the cage will attach to the chassis

Getting the places ready

Making the spreader plates for the cage

The cut and bent pipework

Main hoop and A-Pillar bars

The cage starting to go in

That's coming along nicely, is there anyway of you getting the dimensions of the roll cage, I've got a guy that says he can make one but would be easier and quicker if he had some kind of plan

Add to your list giving the interior metal a quick going over with rattle can or something

And this sticker for your crash lid. I think a large bonnet one would be unsuitable
