Traction Bar & 85A Mounts
The weather was nice this weekend so I fitted the Innovative front traction bar
Yesterday I got most of the old bits off.

And the the new stuff on today with some help from Vanzep and 3rd gen steve.

We got one of the new Innovative engine mounts in place, the gearbox one (which is the hardest IMO).

But found the rear Innovative mount to have one hole slightly out

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
Thanks. It not a hugely difficult issue for me to get past. I'll ask 3rd Gen Steve to widen the hole at his work. I just wondered if you guys had experienced the same thing or if my one was an isolated case.

Not fitted the rear yet no, I started with the gearbox one - you're right, it's a b1tch to line up. After getting it in I aborted fitting them as I forgot the order of things to do, I'm dropping the gearbox any day to fit the clutch and flywheel. So it was a bit pointless even fitting that mount. And I kind of needed to retain the front mount for the time I'll be leaving it hanging there.
Weirdly, I have heard of a fitment issue on the rear mount, but I swear it wasn't Innovative. Looks like it only needs drilling a bit, but its pretty chunky metal so will take a while - good shout checking it first though!

Re: Merlin's 4G Time Attack Lude
It's ok. I'll save my Rich advice credits for something big
I suspect that Innovative QC is a bit loose for my mounts and that my mounts need a bit of jigging to get them in.
