No idea dude. MeisterR have all of the info needed to choose them for me, the cars use, weight, tyres and suspension dimensions. When they are finished being made I will get the technical specs. I think the GT1's are made to order and to the specifics of your car, I cannot see any GT1 info on their site.

They will be fairly hefty though. Some of the spring rates of Integra MeisterR coilover packages

Zeta-S - Front 8kg Rear 6kg
Zeta-R - Front 10kg Rear 8kg
ZETA-R SuperRace - Front 10kg Rear 14kg

MeisterR only have the Zeta-S listed on the website for the Prelude but their rates are slightly heavier at Front 9kg Rear 6kg, which is what I think my Tein Basics are at the moment

Nothing says more win than uber high rear spring rates and softer fronts on a FWD car. Get that rear turning.
But it will be interesting to see the difference to propper custom coilovers made to the car.

I wont be able to do a direct comparison of lap times as I will be putting another 80kg of weight into the car but I am hopeful of getting close to my PB from this year (using 2nd hand soft road coilovers), despite the added weight.

Edit - I suppose I could, I could just remove the weight and go on a track day. But getting a day with decent conditions go for a new PB will be hard.

I ran 12kg front & 10kg rear on my track Prelude but the D2 damper rates were too soft.

Your dampers will be valved specifically for track use 8-)

We might be able to get some made, I can easily take my exhaust manifold off for a future template.

I still have the original template for this gasket. Ill ask my mate if he is still up for doing a run of these and we can maybe get a group buy going if there is anyone else interested.

Yeah we will be getting something sorted soon.

We have come to the conclusion that it isn't the gearbox itself that is broken. When driving it to Steve's garage the other week it was very hard to change gear so we thought it was the hydraulic part of the clutch system that was knackered, being that the master and slave cylinders are well over 20 years old. So we put brand new parts on:

It hasn't solved the problem so after a chat with the guys on the HPRG page on FB we a re now thinging it is a clutch plate or pressure plate issue, so we are going to have to pull the gearbox. Pretty sure Im going to replace my alloy 8lb Fidanza flywheel and Competition Clutch kit with a steel Competition Clutch 9lb flywheel and an Exedy stage 3 3 puk clutch kit :(.

MeisterR GT1's

Post by Merlin » Fri Feb 20, 2015 4:22 pm

My new suspension has arrived. The MeisterR GT1's are replacing my old Tein Basic coilovers. This set is custom made for my Prelude and should give a fairly large performance increase

Awwwww they certainly look special :scaredtoss:

Are you drilling for the strut brace mounts, or are you just going to remove the studs? I'd be tempted to use them with a custom brace.

Yeah they look and feel the shizzle!

Does the 4th gen have the extra holes in the shock tower like the 5th gen?
