Thanx nathan!
What do you think of the fibreworks response?
Think we might get the price down with more orders so as soon as we have an estimate on two doors we can start a group buy topic!

I would like a carbon or kevlar outerskin

Definitely promising. I'll do likewise with Alex from Fibreworx and get him over.

I'd be inclined to go for carbon or kevlar as well. I'll wait to see what the weight to price comparison is though ;-)

Right...
I have found someone in the Netherlands that can also make the prelude doors.

Price including shipment to the UK is around the same as fibreworx.
But If we want to go ahead with this and for this price we need some serious interest.
I have told them we are going to take 5 sets of doors.. I will take two sets ..

NOTE:
Price estimate is 200-220 per door delivered! so your door at your door.
There might be options like carbon or kevlar outerskin but we will hear about this later. Do let us know if you are interested in something like that as the dutch fabricator can not do this.
You will need to fit lexan windows! either make them of get them from plastic4performance.

Who wants a set of lightweight doors for their track prelude?
please copy including the notes above and put your name on the list.

Here they are!

Finally got the doors!
The first set ever is on its way to the UK too!

They weigh only 5.2 KG each (11,5 pounds)

Bolts are inplace for the hinges but rest has to be drilled . OEM rubbers should fit!
Lexan windows recommend!

I have a spare set.
If someone else is interested send me a PM !
