Hose replaced and now leak free :)
turned out to be a low cost repair as the hose and clips came in at under a tenner from Honda and there was no charge for labour :)

next up is rocker cover gasket (again) its now leaking badly - also looks like there are leaks from cam end cap, distributor and the vtec solenoid :? Difficult to tell as there is quite a bit of oil - so i guess best thing to do is rocker cover gasket and cam end cap first and clean all the oil off the block and see if anything else leaks after that
i will be using the OEM P13 rocker cover gasket this time round as ive tried aftermarket and H22A7 gaskets without much success ;)
Its been three years since the auto manual tensioner was put in and the valve clearances done so i might as well check that out at the same time :)

Youve cursed my Rotas havent you!
After much deliberation I had ordered some Bridgestone Potenza Re002's to be fitted at National Tyre&Auto this afternoon....they phoned me at 12.30 to say only two had arrived at the branch and it would be a 3 week wait for the other two :bat:
I cancelled the order.....

Maybe i should get rid of the Rotas :?

Is 3 sets of wheels one too many?

Nick, I believe the correct amount to have is N+1, where N is the number of sets you currently have

No way, you can never have too many sets of wheels Nick! Isn't there anyone else nearby that can get you the tyres you want?

I still have wheels that won't fit any of my cars! ;)

The PIAA's are a nice wheel, but I'm not wholly convinced they suit the styling of a 4th gen, especially your particular 4th gen. Whereas the Rotas would look suitably devine 8)

And Rainsport 3s init! ;)

Yeah i can get the same tyres at a decent price from pneus-online so no major problem i guess but im pissed off that i couldnt get them fitted today...now im looking at the rusty arches again and thinking maybe getting them repaired is more of priority :x

i have also bought wheels that didnt fit my car but that was a one off mistake

Yep the piaa's are a bit marmite love em or hate em they are certainly a pain to keep clean
i do like them but i think you are right they would probably look better on a black lude or maybe a white lude as well come to think of it
and ive got rainsport 3's on the piaa's ;)
