Sounds like the old famous 5th gen ignition switch. Was a Honda recall. Starts of like you say but gets worse as it detoriates more.

I had something similar on a 4th gen once, but it only cut out after quickly stopping from 60 or above..
I never solved the problem. I bought a different 4th gen
..not because I couldn't fix it, it was just the way it worked out when my green one came along!
So this post won't help at all, but good luck mate

Yeah cheers Adam
Not had much experience with faulty ignition switches, so unsure of the symptoms. I'll have a read.
I did wonder about my battery terminals actually... They're not the best and the positive's bolt is knackered and so I just whack it on and wobble it off

It's one of those jobs I keep wanting to sort, but forget about. Might look for new terminals now

That exact problem was FITV in my case, my tuner fixed it after remap.
O2 sensor couldn't cause this on cold start since it doesn't do anything until thermostat kicks in and that is 78 degrees Celsius on OEM thermostat.
Ignition switch would most likely also turn on your key code (imobilizer) light.

'tis true that the O2 sensor has no part to play in engine mixture until the engine has warmed up.
Nafe, is your battery even secured down? I can't see a tie down strap in that pic? (or do that have clamps at the bottom on a 5g?)
If not, that combined with a dodgy terminal is definitely where I would start!
