Yeah, mtec are great like that.
Have a look back through group buys and you'll see I had all that info sorted out from them - I was going to do a group buy, but got drokked off with people bitching and moaning about whether they were the right spec discs or not yadda yadda, so said bollox to it in the end...

Just thought id say im impressed by the work you have done on your lude - its mainly stuff you cant see as the big jobs have been on suspension and exhaust - but huge difference from when you bought it from Dbo. Car now handles brilliantly and pulls like a train. 8-)
I know youve got some quality parts still to be fitted ;)

Photos arent bad but still not good enough imo

Fujitsubo modified

Post by newkid » Wed Jan 06, 2016 7:23 pm

Went down the route of having the fujitsubo modified as fitment wasn't all its cracked up to be. Manifold and downpipe haven't been touched but the extension pipe when fitted correctly forces cat/catback into a position away from the tunnel.

So this is what was removed and cut to be replaced.

This is the replacement, as you can see the decat/cat is done away with altogether making a far better fit.

Now not sure if it's just me but the fujitsubo has the bracket to fit the standard plate to the back of the block on the downpipe. This is impossible to fit as the fujitsubo sits lower so I'm guessing one needs to be made up.

Also comes with a bracket and a u-clamp that's meant to help support it to the front of the block like the standard ones does. This also doesn't fit.

My guess is with it being built of the car some would need tinkering with.
