You need dispersible aspirin in the fuel tank.
Also, it doesn't have a lambda? I thought it did (maybe I didn't pay enough attention when I had mine
)
[edit] Aha! Wait, the USDM cars have them, the UKDM ones don't. We just have a strange casting on the fanimold where it would be if we did have one. I think ...

Yeah, honda-hardy's has a lambda sensor or two because his is an import, but mine certainly has none.
If I lift the butterfly at the TB then it does just idle at whatever I'm revving it too, but it does have to be about 2k around about not to surge.
If I disconnect the temp sensor then it kicks flames out the back. And then won't re-start when hot. I know this as the temp sensor was faulty so I've replaced it.
A new piece of intel... Just had her back from the MOT. Max emissions is 3.5%... Mine is at 0.08%
So she's practically running on air. Whilst it was out for MOT I went and picked up a new fuel filter and injector cleaner, but I'm thinking it must be down to another sensor now. Just need to find out which one.

Have you tried blocking the FITV hole in the throttle body to see if idle returns close to normal? Get the car up to temp and block the lower hole with your finger. If the idle returns close to normal then your FITV is the problem. If this does nothing then block the upper hole. The car should stall, if not you've got an air leak somewhere.
