I bought a bonnet for the CX over the phone once, drove there in the Safari (the estate CX) feeling sure that I'd get the bonnet in the back of that mahousive thing, no problem... I did manage to get two thirds of it in, but that was my lot! :evil: Had to go back later with a van. :troll:

Take a load of bubblewrap/sheets and a few ratchet straps/bungees and strap it on top of your current bonnet. Then don't drive above 40 ;-) :lol:

I did collect another one on the roof rack of a Sunny. It was certainly interesting driving along with a drokking great wing strapped to the roof! Felt like I was driving a stock car! :lol:

hahaha, I picked mine up in a Chevy Kalos! £6 30mtr rope from b&q, done.
Had to drive with my hand holding onto it so it didn't lift though lol.

Some one got a bargin there indeed! I paid double that and though I got a good deal!

stripped the 306 to its bare bones, seat belts and all to get mine in and still had to have a corner sticking out of the back window,

Picked this up yesterday a friend and me took his van and 6 hours later i got home well chuffed just needs sanding and re laquar :D
