I didn't know that - I've always had a pro account. Worth double checking as they changed a lot of things a month or two ago.Donald wrote:Flickr may offer 1tb but unless they've changed their policy you can only view the most recent 200 photos unless you upgrade to a pro account.
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

i had the same messages nafe, i am currently on 97.01%, so i just opened up another account using a different email address.
but i am finding the percentage increase higher now than ever before when uploading pics, one reason i feel the increase is due to larger pictures and better quality perhapse. my new account is 7% full already, and only had it 3 weeks.

I'm using exactly the same camera though. I wondered if they attach more information to the images now instead. I think the increase has come since they made their changes and the img codes now have all those random digits at the endhonda-hardy wrote:i had the same messages nafe, i am currently on 97.01%, so i just opened up another account using a different email address.

Make shure you don't upload RAW images, they are huge and in my opinion only good for modifying the pics since you can change the white balance and such. And i just came to the conclusion that I was doing this till now...

I hit about 98% a couple of weeks ago so I did what Hardy suggested and opened up a new account on a different email address. Hadn't got round to changing the settings in my phone app though, to get it to upload to the new one.NafemanNathan wrote:I'm using exactly the same camera though. At the weekend I got a message from them to my original e-mail address saying they'd added a further 8Gb storage to that one for free, so I don't need to bother now

Wow! You guys take alot of pics!
I'm at 46% and I have a fair amount.
Just checked and my free allowance is 2GB + 0.4GB as a reward??? Not alot of storage in this day and age. To have 20GB is about £20 a year.
Any comparison sites/ reviews done against the various pic storage sites I wonder? I knew Photobucket from the start so have just stuck with them.
I have my own hosting (lot's of it) - any others here use their own? @indigolemon / @Kawa ???
Probably not worth it I guess with the free services available out there?
