He said the bag came "open" with only 6 clips inside. I'm a bit dubious about them doing it at all now to be honest. I asked what he'd have done if I hadn't requested the clips, he said he'd have had a go and then come back again another time! This is 4 appointments where they've had to reschedule! Not impressed. Got to wait til next weekend now - I wonder what their excuse will be next Saturday?!

Update: Autoglass came to fit my screen (for the 5th time) this time they brought the outside trim, 8 clips (although I thought there should have been 10) and one pre-broken windscreen!

Appointment 6 has been arranged for next Saturday. I have the Autoglass complaints phone number now, I will call them at lunch time.

I'm pretty sure I do too although I'm not sure I even want to go ahead with it now because I just read another post on here which says I need 16 clips - 8 small rectangular ones (of which he had 6) and then 8 more curved ones for sticking in the adhesive (of which he had zero, and no clue about either) so I know next weekend when he comes back, he'll fit the glass but then fail to fit the trim and have to book another appointment and I'll have to drive around with no trim on my screen - and that's the best case scenario!!!
They are a joke. I'm going to call a local company later and see if they can do it through my insurance instead.

I just phoned Honda asking for a list of necessary parts for windscreen replacement and after being told they "are not an information service" and "I will not give you a list of part numbers unless you order the parts" I got the list and prices without ordering anything. This is what they sent me:

and

All Autoglass brought with them was: #1, the glass; #4, the moulding assembly; and #7, clip D x6

Honda have gone over the top there.
You don't need everything on that parts list.
You only need the screen
And the trim clips

And you only need the trim if it's damaged - you can remove and refit this fine.

All the other bits are re-usable/don't need replacing unless you completely bugger them up.
You don't want to get the screen fitted, leave the trim out and get it replaced later though - the clips that get set into the bonding adhesive (item 5 and 6)* should be fitted there and then, while the adhesive round the screen is wet. If you try to stick them in later, they're very unlikely to go in flat.
(*Technically item 5 and 6 don't have to be set into the adhesive, they have clips that are meant to hold them in on their own, but they don't work properly so they do need to be bonded in)
Also the top edge of the windscreen has a rubber holding strip as original fitment to hold the trim on there.
That bit isn't in Honda's parts list (as you can see above) and you won't get a replacement for it, so the trim needs bonding in along the top ideally - and again, for best results that's best done when the screen is fitted in case the screen bonding adhesive has pushed out into the trim fitting channel when the screen's fitted. If so and that dries, it would stop the trim being pushed fully home later.
