My ex had a sol with that engine in. Agree with you, gets overlooked but works well.

As Lude-dude says, plenty of them that have been turbo'd too.

(Would love to know where hers ended up btw, she sold it last year. If anyone sees it around let me know - it was mint)

My bro had an EG ESi with the D16Z6 and it was a belter of a wee motor in it. Pulled 141bhp with just breathing mods and went pretty good actually.
