But what will I store my 5 random tyres and useless Aerodeck bumper in if you take my booth?! :(

Oh and you have to put in an official request to Indigolemon, but for all to see to delete your account... And it's not like you can just walk away and never come back again either, so don't even think about that!

BMCC wrote:Probably just need to up the base idle a bit. You'd need to pull the IACV connector (when fully warm) and connect a tachometer to see what it is sitting at once the IACV can't interfere. Should be around 500-550rpm I think (the manual will tell you though).
IACV for sure if it is dropping a tad, defo. I did the FITV and wound it in all the way then backed it off a tiny bit, not even quarter turn, Got mine ticking over like a new car, just ironing out this stupid warm flat spot now.

If it is the FITV then you will know if you block the lower hole in the throttle body with your finger. If you do this and get no change in the idle then it can't be the FITV as this is where it is drawing air from. The reason I was saying to adjust the base idle screw is that they can get blocked up over time, you'd need to take the TB off to clean it though. Same thing with the IACV give it a clean and see if it helps.

Have you tried cleaning/replacing the throttle position sensor? If it's ok when you fire it up but then it goes funny after you blip the revs, sounds to me like it could be the TPS..
