You can borrow the one on my car if you like to rule it out? Not like I'll need it any time soon.

Then it's tracing the wiring to see if there is a break anywhere?

Oh and...

You put enough fuel in right?

Thanks again for everything mate
It's all good Steve, I know you weren't and that you and me are just trying to get to the bottom of the problem which is obviously difficult via the phone.
As I said earlier, I am here to help as much as I can 8-)

That's what he's already done with mine, but as said, it's been stood a while, so although it worked perfectly for me, it might now be causing an issue. Still, Ste did it make a slight difference?

It has to be a wiring fault then. Or...

Assuming it was you're chipped ECU you retained with the VAFC on top, maybe your DIY soldering job on the chipped ECU? I know you said it was a doddle and you are one of the the rare few who've managed to do it themselves and not balls it up, but maybe a break has only just appeared?

A spare P13 would rule this out and then it's just the wiring between the sensor and ECU left.

No worries Ste. Apologies if it too is faulty. At least I'll know for the future if ever I have a dizzy issue  Fingers crossed the new one will sort it :)
