Cam end seal?

Post by Merlin » Thu May 30, 2013 11:39 am

Where did everyone get their shiny cam end seal from? The Honda OEM is £12 but if there is an aftermarklet one for not much more I might be interested.

Well time post Merlin - fresh from searching about the oil cooler seal (for JDM), I've just been searching for vtec solenoid valve and cam end seal leaks (for the UKDM) and was about to ask a question about the cam end seal :D

So question is, to replace the cam end seal you unbolt the 2 bolts on the top of it, lift the cover off and the seal comes out. Right?
No need to take the cam cover off?

The cam cover needs to come off. I am looking at a few seals since I am about to replace my timing belt and the valve cover needs to come off anyway. I have some nice oil leaks on my 5th gen ;)
