That was priceless. Whilst we were all looking under the bonnets of our cars, dbo was at the back of Pauls with him. Gayno suggested that we whip off the covers and put on his lude. I whipped one off but dbo started to walk back to the front of his car, so i placed it under his lip and continued talking as normal. I then suddenly noticed one of the covers was missing and pointed this out to him. His face was a picture, a mix of panic and fear with a hint of loss. We cracked up. What a moment.

Are you meaning about displaying a valid tax disc in the window? Well yep, technically you'd fall foul of that. It would have to be a seriously anal copper that would pull you over and do you though, when the PNC shows the car as taxed and you can show him the email confirming the transaction has gone through...

Yes sorry, there's nothing stopping you buying it online after the start of the month, it's just the "being able to drive without displaying it even though you've bought it" rule only applies if you buy it online before the start of the month

That all said though I only have my tax disc in the window when I'm parked up. Passed countless coppers coming towards me with no tax disc displayed, never been pulled for it. Of course if I was being pulled I would just stick it in the window and be like:
