Very good point! Assuming you had Alex's alternator Ste or used the ATR one and Phil didn't splice in a 4th gen connector?...

IIRC, the 5G uses a square connector, and the 4G uses a round connector.

Yes, you're right.

The connectors on the alternators are switchable, but it's a faff.

When I had my 5th I was thinking about putting a switch on the alternator, free some more ponies up!

Yip its a 4th gen, your original one is back on there because of the loom. And dizzy is your old one.

Did the alternator break your phone too?

I take it this is why you forgot about Sunday bud, but a reply would have been nice.

I already have my alternator removed, ready and waiting if you needed to get the car up and running asap, would just need to replace it with another in due course.
