Slow forum?

@Kawa - Been checking things this morning and ping times to the site seem OK, so it does seem to point at the database server for the slowdown. Is it shared with other users?

Will do! I turned on compression for the site pages too. 69k page ~> 9k now

I didn't think I had managed to post that ^^^ as as soon as I submitted it I had the same error message and I haven't been able to get on until now.

Donald has managed to PM me this to pass on as he hasn't been able to post either...

I got an error this afternoon which meant I couldn't get on, I sent info on it to the admin@ludegeneration email account.
