Im hoping by doing that and replacing all the gaskets i should cure my hunting idle problem, any advice would be grateful, many thanks, fred

Practice your swear words as getting to the manifold nuts is a bitch!

Are you getting one that still runs an EGR valve? Because if not detaching the EGR valve will through a CEL light if you don't earth the connection.

:? I thought with a skunk manifold you lose some vacuum lines or one of the valves (or something) and you end up with a rough idle as a result? :?

It could if it isn't currently your inlet manifold/gaskets at fault

Is there any point in fitting it if you are using a standard throttle body?
