They should have done a nelson mandella car meet. Not related but I'd have gone. But why in January. My car wouldn't handle the ice and salt.

What's the point in anything in a world where 3 minor celebrity deaths and a phone get more Google searches than Nelson Mandela. :think:

Easily explained. Most browsers let you search from the address bar, so to get to 'www.google.co.uk' it's quicker to simply type 'google' and let the browser do the rest.

Not exactly!

As lemon said, most browsers address bar also doubles as a search bar. Most browsers also use Google as their default search engine.

A true comparison would be emailing the shop, asking for directions to that shop.

:? But my point was that if you can just type in the search term into the address bar and that gives you the google search result, there's no need to search for google in the first place so you can then type in the search term you actually wanted... So it is like going into a shop, to ask for directions on how to get to the shop :evil:
