Road rash was epic on the mega drive as was golden eye on the n64, many nights spent with my mates playing goldeneye

Love my old MegaDrive. Got quite a few games with it, might drag it out :D

That said, I got MegaDrive Classics on the PS3 that has shedloads of great games......spend more time playing that than any other PS3 game :D

you could/ can save with road rash on the MegaDrive and a few other games using the code system, ball ache to put the 20 or so digit code in but it just about worked. what about Speedball 2 8-) 8-) , still play it now on the MD ;)

I have speedball 2 on my phone (you can get it as a free download for android). It's good, but tbh I can't get on with the touch screen interface for it...

Man, I have so many old consoles that i just cant bear to part with. I only have a couple set up all the time though and one of those is the megadrive, cracking machine.
@Donald you have the one with the better sound chip too 8-) Rig that baby up to your hifi and use a decent scart cable = much arcade fun.
Recently picked up Streets of Rage 3 - that bitch is hard!

Oh and make sure you do the 50/60Hz mod - you suddenly realise how shortchanged we were. Sonic is the perfect example.

power blade is worth abit now I think

I looking into getting amiga computer, but its total minefield

forgot some games only work with 500/600 or 1200,

the old 15hz monitors, otherwise you get flicker on new LCD's etc..

but it is nice to have the old hardware, I have 3 dreamcast's :lol:
