White Porsche 924S (that's the 924 with the genuine Porsche 2.5L engine rather than the 2.0 VAG lump)
Mot June 2014 (only advisory was wipers - since replaced with new Bosch), Tax June 2014.
Power steering, Electric windows/mirrors/sunroof/aerial/rear boot release/front headlamp wash, Kenwood tape head-unit. All those work, although electric mirrors are intermittent and the electric boot release doesn't release the boot - you can hear it operate correctly every time but the boot doesn't unlock, I think it just needs adjusting. I haven't looked into either problem.
Black large Porsche logo interior (a rare interior) in basically immaculate condition, including sun-roof bag in the boot, boot pull out cover & original black Porsche fabric floor mats. No rips/tears or threadbare anywhere (rare on a 924) and nice and clean. Minor cracking to dash top (but definitely one of the better ones!).
2x sets original keys & original service book showing lots of service history (mostly Porsche main dealer or independent Porsche specialist). Recent major service by me (~4k ago) incl. oil+filter, air filter, cam and balance belts, brake fluid change, coolant flush/change, spark plug clean/gap, lower engine mount change (the one that always gets cooked). It runs the oil pressure that it should (around 5bar at cold idle and just over 3 at hot idle) starts every time with no need for the throttle and runs normal coolant temp (it sat in 2 1/2 hour queues to get into Goodwood FOS in scorching heat and 3 hour queues to V Festival with no problems!). Recent dyno on LG National Meet dyno day showed the engine is putting out 142bhp (it should have been 150 new) so the engine clearly in good health despite mileage (159k) dyno print out available. I fully expect those 8 horses could be regained by another service with new plugs/leads etc. and mixture check.
New Exide battery, alternator/power steering pump recently replaced with good used, lower mileage units. The bonnet gas struts have gone weak in their old age and rarely hold the bonnet open (I just use a piece of wood to prop it open instead).
Outside book history I can see that not long before I bought it, it had new discs and pads all round and front anti-roll bar bushes - no receipts for these, but you can see for yourself that they're new. The car drives perfectly, not like a high miler.
Exterior is pretty good - bodywork all straight with just a couple of minor shopping trolley type dinks and the paint work is generally in good scratch-free condition, but appropriate with its age the front slam panel and bonnet does have noticeable stone chips and you can see it has had small touch up areas of paint over the years. There are also a few scuffs on the bumpers, where the top coat has been rubbed off down to the primer undercoat. There are 3 very small areas of corrosion (non structural and not big jobs at all). All exterior trim present and correct.
Matched set of Goodyear Eagle's all round with good tread, on original Teledial alloys. One tyre has sidewall cracking but passed MOT without an advisories.
The car is registered Cat C, but don't be put off by that - the shell has clearly never had any major work, basically all original paint and all the glass is original so whatever caused that clearly wasn't actually major! I had the VIC carried out and have the certificate. Basically a good, solid, honest example of a 924s that with a bit of bodywork could return to mint or just carry on running as is and enjoy it! Reluctant sale because I've always wanted one and purchased it for a bit of fun but have too many cars (9) and it has to go
