Oh boy here we go.

Some will say don't buy Rota, some will say do. There are horror stories of Rotas going shat through road use and there are faultless reports from people that use them on track.

Yes you're buying replicas, but Rota are a large company and I'm sure they have extensive testing - they can't afford not to. They're probably not as bad as the lesser known companies doing the exact same thing with a smaller piggy bank to play with.

As always, you tend to hear and remember bad news more frequently than good news.

Best to probably make your own mind up. If they're within your budget and they perform how you want to, why not.

Ultimately you can look at it this way - 4-5-600 per wheel for something genuine with a name that you have unquestioned faith in, or 4-5-600 for an entire set that may have some bad press and may be copied designs, but is clearly much cheaper to replace should the wheel goblin visit you.

Design-wise though, not to my taste, although they will probably look good on a CRX ;)

Rota make a lot of oem wheels.
The ones that have shattered are monkeys with with stretched wheels aiming at pot holes.

In my opinion Auto X wheels are a chav replica of what was a retro rim. They're far to sculpted and glossy for my liking... and your CRX ;),

I have Rota wheels on my Aerodeck, can't fault them at all really. Had them on there well over a year now, and it's all good.
