Not directly relevant, but the standard butterfly valve on Lisa's lude sticks closed.
That's not due to gunk though - I've given it all a good clean up and no difference.
Adjusting the throttle cable would only cure it on her car by preventing the butterfly closing fully, which isn't ideal.
I'm going to swap it with a used replacement I have.

right, 66m Alpha series it is... im not bothered about a 2mm difference :roll:

You sure? You're going for quite an engine build. Seems daft to restrict it right at the start of its cycle.

What inlet manifold are you going for?

ATR inlet (which will be port matched to whatever I buy). I don't want to go 70mm due to all the "problems after 68mm" talk there's always been - you think 68mm is worth it over 66mm?

The higher the rpm your engine will rev to the more air it will require. So it will depend on the rest of your setup.

I'd say 68mm too. What about a copy of the Blox (essentially what the Alpha series is):

Me and Nathan have different brand copies and work nicely. Throttle bodies aren't exactly rocket science mechanical items.
