Another one bites the dust?...

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

I am gutted for you,I hope this can be resolved in a satisfactory manner for you. The only bright spot is you are at at least alive and kicking. :(

Even if it is written off and you don't repair it, might still want to buy it back to sell the engine as an 'upgrade' for other 3rd gen owners and the manual box/pedals/gear linkages etc. as a manual conversion kit???

Ah crap.

Really sorry to hear about this bud, she was looking great when i saw her last year. Brings a tear to my eye. You have the worst luck with accidents coming your way. Sounds like this couldn't be helped, poor guy having a fit, glad everyone involved are ok though. One of my good mates has epilepsy. They can drive but as otters have stated they need to go a period without a seizure to get approved by a doctor to drive. My poor mate has been on and off driving cars, I feel bad for him not having transport some years. But to have the seizure actually in the car is quite rare, that's the shitty luck, for both of you.

Personally, I think that's more than fixable, but good luck with dealing with the insurers and what the end result is mate.

Mate, really sorry to see this. :(

Hope your back's ok. You should probably get it checked out.

The car does look fixable, but I think you'll be lucky to get them to agree to do the repairs.

At the end of the day though, at least no-one was seriously injured. Just make sure you buy it back if they do write it off, cos you can either rebuild another one with the spares, or sell on the parts to fellow Luders. ;)

Real shame to see this happen to such a nice example though; and right before the show season starts too..

Will this accelerate the progress of the project 4th now you think?

Gutted mate, I swear 'Ludes are being targeted my lesser motors..

But yeah, as others have said, buy it back - I got my green one back, delivered to my door, for £50! Definitely worth an ask.
