FAILED
Stupid things ive done are the only reasons for fail tho.
Ive fitted the front shocks to the wrong side this means my brake hoses arent secured correctly and one is rubbing.
Battery unsecure clamp at home as i took the battery off to charge it up
Rear fog light not working. Ive not connected it since changing the bumpers

Advisory
both front cv boots
exhaust has a minor leak.

So by the end of the day ill have all this done as the garage is quite so ill get her on the ramp and get on with it in a minute :D

Not too bad then :) You going to swap the front shocks around or just zip tie the hoses?

Well I fixed everything needed to be done that I had discussed with the mot tester last night by about 5pm so asked him to do the retest and he asked if I'd changed the brake hose as well. I'll just call this little set back mis communication between my self and kev (the mot tester)
I started work on the car while he was printing off my failure sheet and he told me the brake hose had been rubbing where it was
loose on the NSF from my shocks being the wrong way round but forgot to mention that he was failing it on this also.
Now I can't get one from any of the motor factors I have an account with so I have 1 Lude with no mot and the other is locked in my garage 20 miles away

I've taken the car off the road for now as the rust is getting worse and I need to get it sorted which I'll never get done if I keep driving her.

So it's not looking nice but she will be getting sorted.
I've booked her in for the end of September for a full respray by a guy called dan who has just started up on his own a few months back.
He has started South West Kustoms and looking at some of his work and talking to him he certainly has a eye for detail.
The plan is to cut out both rear arches and sills and replace with the items I bought off Cebul over a year ago. Remove front and rear screen to sort those areas out, smooth off aerial and all boot badges and boot lock, smooth off the spoiler holes and fit a bmw style boot lip.
I'm staying with the original colour as it has a really nice bronze/gold flake in it,
Here's how she is at the mo without the spoiler.
I may also sell these wheels for something different but I'm unsure as I really like these.

Ouch, yeah that rust does need sorting :(

Actually quite like the spoiler-less look on it!
