Note the 5 bosses around the crank seal on the 2000 Oil Pump, and then compare that to the basic crescent shape in the same area under the 93-96 one.

So sorry bud, looks like it's not the one you're after (but the one I need :hurr: ).
I think even from those pics, those mounts are just for additional sensors moved out of the dizzy on OBD2 cars. Is there a physical difference in the hole for the crank? Obviously journals size vary, but does that actually effect the part that pokes out to the cambelt/crank pulley? :?

I'm gonna check mine at some point, the type of thing that would bug me.

Either way, get the A1 ordered and good luck getting it all fitted on the weekend. 8)

This is what I was refurring to earlier on in the post. I don't know what size that hole has to be to suit either a 50mm or 55mm journalled crank (I don't have an H22 crank to hand to measure). I just know that the one I have is a safe bet for me as it is for an H22a7 or a8.

Yeah, sorry I didn't state it but I was agreeing with your earlier point.

Glad you're sorted though. Gonna check my pump now and my block but I reckon its just the mounting for the sensors so doesn't matter either way.

Cool. The interchangeability is something we should really know about by now  Handy for the forum anyway ;-)

@4thgenphil has a few stashed away... He has nothing better to do so I'm sure he'd be delighted to measure them for you! :poke: ;)

Shall I buy a h22a1 from USA and compare it against the one in a h22a2 ?

I'd fully expect them to be exactly the same tbh. So you wouldn't be wasting your money.
