An amazing start to the new year.

Banter goes here, and doesn't have to be Lude related

Thats unlucky to say the least but like Ratty said it should be repairable.
I had a similar incident with my lude at a roundabout. I was going to walk away from it and send it to the crusher but i joined a forum and got some advice and help and decided to keep it and fix it up :) I had owned the car for 10 years at that point so maybe that had something to do with it. Choice is yours - advice i got at the time was to find a breaker with the parts needed to fix it up ;)

Some years later on fully repaired with the help of a chicken mechanic :)

The Chicken Mechanic rules.

Crap luck, mate. Hope you get a decent outcome, whatever it is.

Oh feck :x  sorry man. Absolutely sucks.

Tbh, I think that would be a lot of work to fix. The barrier has spread the load right across the front to the side arms, so they'll both be bent I reckon (rather than the front cross member having bent and absorbed most of the energy) so that's pretty major aggro getting it properly straight and strong again.
With the price of 5g's and number still around atm, I reckon you'd be better off buying a replacement and swapping the best bits from yours over, if you need to.

I'm going to get cash in lieu of repair, that way I get the car back and have all the modifications off her and get some money off the insurers as well.

I went to have a look today and it doesn't look too bad, but with the rear arches starting to rust I'm starting to think about looking for a clean Red top, an ATR or something RWD.

I feel I'll be cut up about this one for a long time. :(

I decided to go back and take pictures in a none shocked state.

This is where I hit. My impact was not enough to bend the barrier.

This is looking back at the roundabout. Looks like quite a few people have had similar issues.

You can see how slippery it looks even with the appalling surface.

And to top it off!

The more I look at these pics the angrier I'm getting!
