Adding auto up/down function to passenger window.

Post by Bludge » Sun Feb 08, 2015 4:19 pm

Is it possible to add the auto function on the drivers window switch to the passenger switch (on the drivers side)?

find yourself an american or european drivers side window switch, will probably need the relay box that controls it aswell though but shouldn't be too hard.

Cutz, I assume he means adding an auto switch for the passenger window for the driver to use.

Thought this many times before. I'm sure it's possible. You'd have to retro-fit an auto switch in there as they're different switches, then add the relay and splice it in so that the passenger's own switch works independently.

Yeah thats what i ment nafe, upon re-reading it doesnt sound too clear! lol.

Interesting, its a minor annoyance but its something that i want to look into. seems strange to me that they only included the function for the drivers window.

Driver is meant to keep his hands on the wheel, doesn't matter about the passenger ;-)

Fek. Thread jack but just remembered I forgot to pay the Dartford toll after going over on Sunday afternoon  drokking Arses getting rid of the toll booths, I suppose that means I can expect a drokking massive fine now?
Funnily enough it wasn't something that stuck in my mind after parking the car at the airport and flying out somewhere I'd never been to before

More reason why the "driver's passenger window switch" (if you'd read the thread  ) should have an auto function ;-)

Ok, I'd missed that part.

Could just shout at the passenger to do it for you though! :D

That song is epic live 8-) This version is bollocks however. Sounds like the foldback was fooked.
