Yes I do agree, the sheet metal isn't the problem.wurlycorner wrote:I reckon it's the frame that has all the weight?
@nathan, that's great, have a chat with him. I'm willing to have his name on my car if it helps

@phil yes cut everything. I have a brutal impact bar on my side that makes the protection bar look like a matchstick..

It's always about costs.. But the main benefit of losing weight vs gaining power is the cornering speeds and brake forces.
I have decided not too go over 400hp just so I can have a reliable setup and keep traction.
To compensate the heavy cage I want to go extra lean now.
Will go buzzingvtec on some parts aswell I think , but the doors are just stupidly heavy..
I recon if we get like 4 sets made it will cost around 400£ per door.
It's just a guess but I'm willing to pay it if it saves me 20kg..

Thanx for the input so far guys.
Let's just see where this goes

A bit of one, I'm not really a talker/writer. I've done loads and usually forget most of what I've done.wurlycorner wrote:looks like a proper sexy build
I can't recall seeing it before? Have you got a profile thread?

I've seen Ash's lude in the metal, and let's say, well, it's light
