For the handbrake light, check your brake fluid level. And do that now, don't wait for japfest!

Is it only first gear that it makes the noise when you lift the clutch, or in others as well?
If it's only in first gear, if you try and pull away in second gear instead, does it also make the noise or is it quiet then?
