H22A5 with H22A7 parts
H22A5 with H22A7 parts
I will get some parts as a gift from a best friend. All parts are from ATR H22A7 accord. There is camshafts, pistons for compression ratio 11:1, exhaust manifold and ported and polish 70mm throttle body. After installing these parts, i will buy P28 ECU and tune it. Only thing that I will not get is the intake manifold, which is more important.
Is there anybody that have similiar setup and what power I can expect?

Doesnt the exhaust manifold need modified to fit?Merlin wrote:70mm throttle body will be overkill IMO, maybe even too big. You shouild get the intake manifold too.
If you get all that installed, plus any accompanying mods, I think you will be in the 225-230 bhp range.
Same with the intake mani?

The ATR exhaust manifold is not a direct fit as one of the front cross members needs to be notched. The ATR exhaust manifold is not a huge improvement anyway. It is reportedly double skinned and the ID of the inner skin is not much of an improvement over the standard Lude one.
The intake manifold is certainly a performance upgrade over the standard Prelude one.

Actually... Merlin's track car is A7 based?
Whereas bennyboy is A8 based, was my thinking... A lot of the others are just A's with minor mods (A8 cams etc.)?
Then I run out of ludes that are running modified engines (running being the important words - the several builds in progress don't count, obviously because they have no bhp or tuning figures yet!!!)
(There are probably several more and I've just missed them because my memory is jobby!)
