Easy there, fella. I wouldn't take it personally, I'm sure there's no ill will toward you, just luck of the draw.

I think you're right, but these chaps have lives... I'm sure a reminder'll come.

Edit to say what I meant.

So you should have known better ;)

Give them a chance. Everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt. Not everyone is forum experienced, this is their second post.

... And they did state pictures are to come. It's a whole car as well, so it's not like another member is going to eagerly jump in and paypal the money across blind.

The 'forum rules' for selling a car are actually 'guidelines' as to how best to write an ad. These do recommend pictures of course, although they don't require username in them.

The reason for a different approach I would imagine (rules were written prior to my joining) is because anyone that sends money to someone they don't know, to buy a car they've never seen, clearly has problems that any amount of forum rules couldn't possibly help...
(I.e. you are of course going to go and see the thing in person, do the deal and fill in the v5 then)

@Jhyde I do urge you to please read the guidelines however :D even before putting up pics, it would be useful to know the year of the car (that would tell people whether it's pre or post facelift) and colour.

Sorry for my inexperience. It's a facelift 1991 car on a H plate. The colour is Seattle silver. I'll get some pictures up as soon as I can.
