Cheers lover. What's the code on it? CJV40?

I'll hopefully get around to testing it tonight and let you know.

My wiring doesn't look to be modded at all, unless it was spliced in further down the line.

I thought all OBD2 (Like OBD1) were all the same connectors for things like alternators and dizzies.

Do you know what the amperage of an ATR alternator is supposed to be? I've looked all over the net, but can't find it
Won't fit anyway. Different plug.
Just been out and had a look. I appear to have an ATR one fitted. A CJV40...

Being OBD2 wouldn't the plugs be the same?
not as far as i can tell i looked at atr ones but the plug looked different

That's what I thought at first, but it's just how the "0" has worn. CJV48 doesn't exist.

Excuse me for bringing this topic back to life but is the JDM alternator any different to the one on any other Preludes??

My car has been sitting still for ages, today I tried to jump start the car. It worked and I drove it around the street to clear the brakes etc.. Everything worked good but as soon as I turned the car off and then tried to turn it back on, it just dies out. :?

Maybe the alternator is messed up and not charging? :|

Car will run just off the battery (until it goes flat) even if the alternator isn't charging. Your battery light would be on though, if it's not charging.

There is no car battery light on the dash when the car was running.

Maybe the battery is drokked up, as I've let it go flat couple of times now.
