Fabulous fixings, help required please.

Post by simonc » Mon Oct 19, 2015 7:32 am

Hi all, I've recently discovered a whole load of fixings that Tim gave me yonks ago. I must admit, I kind of forgot about them but as Jason is always bleating on about fixings that break and then are difficult to find, I have sorted them out and hopefully you can tell me what I've got.

Here's the first lot.
Image

A: I've got just the one
B: I've got 7 of these plastic screws.
C: Just the one. It has tiny grooves on the inside near the opening and would love to know what it is.

Here's the rest.
Image

D: Got about a dozen or so.
E: About twenty of these fellas.
F: Again, about twenty of them.
G: Two of these clips.
H: Three of these.
I: Two of them.
J: Three of these.
K: Two of these.

If you could let me know I'd be really grateful. Thanks. :)

A - front and rear bumper side supports
B - used all over the boot and other areas of the interior for holding bits of trim (usually carpet type bits) on
C - No idea, never seen that before
D - front door window scraper bars
E - Side skirts
F - Front windscreen moulding clips (sides only)
G - Air filter box cover
H - need to see from another angle please
I - Underneath part of front screen support adjuster (used at the bottom of the screen for supporting the weight while the bonding sealant goes off). Used with J and may also fit I, can't recall.
J - Top part of I
I - Top part of rear screen support adjuster (works as per I )

Wonderful, thanks so much. Amazing. I'm really grateful.
@wurlycorner, 'H', is cup shaped so the inside of it is open at the top and tapers to a solid bottom. Any help?

Nope. I can think of 3 possible options for where it goes, but can't tell which one until I see the top :D

Just to correct my note on A... I think on reflection it's only for the rear bumper, not the front. I can confirm after I get the BB4 back

If I get a minute later on this evening, I'll take a quick snap of it. Ta, Iain.

Is "H" not one of the receptacles for a kickplate that clips into the sill first?
