I think it was around 180. I kept taking my ones in and out, checking them often.

Oven onto max until heated up.
Turn off oven and put lights in on a cold baking tray.
Leave for 5 mins.
Take out and prise apart.
Burn hands.

Done this many times.

I done it on my fan assisted oven. Same procedure applies.

Let the oven heat up, then turn it off and put the lights in for 5-7 mins. Then take it out and quickly open the lights up.

Ratty's rules have changed since last time :) It was something like 200 degrees C, oven off, light in on cold tray (make sure the light doesn't touch the Sides) and leave in for 7 minutes.

Worked a treat, the lenses came off with minimal effort. My oven is fan assisted as well, so I just turned it off at the wall once heated, to prevent the oven cooling down too fast.

Does the light inside the oven need to be on, or off though? :?

I'm hoping you would have disconnected it from the car before you attempt to fit it in the oven :?
