Lots of new goodies installed so I thought I'd better update the profile. Obviously the new wheels and tyres are on but here's the update on the things I'd bought from you guys before Christmas, which made it out here a few weeks ago.

Obviously delighted with the kick plates.
Image

Fitted new fuel/temp gauges and installed new bulbs in every single warning light.
Image

Refurbished and fitted the rather sexy strut brace.
Image

Installed amber lights just to see how they looked and also fitted spotlight surrounds.
Image

Time to fit the new air-con controller. Look at the lovely 'Off' button.
Image

Fit a new LR mud flap, as the one on my car had been scratched.
Image

Install these snazzy pedals.
Image

We fitted the carbon fibre wire cover a few weeks ago as I brought it back in my luggage.
Image

The start of the fitting for the air-con unit. Out comes the stereo.
Image

Removing this was a bit tricky but it had to come away to get access to the retaining screw.
Image

Open heart surgery.
Image

Open wide please.
Image

Wire porn for those who appreciate it. Not as mucky in there as I would have thought.
Image

The view from my trusty bronchoscope into the Prelude's lungs. Surprisingly clean.
Image

The unit got a nice blowing and we refitted thin foam around the interior edges.
Image

Blew away all the crud from this area as well.
Image

Ta-dah! No more tatty off button misery.
Image

Fitted and fired up. It's alive!
Image

Old mud flap removed. No rust or crud which was nice to see.
Image

The new, undamaged one now fitted.
Image

My spanking new dash - fully functional. Brilliant.
Image

And, for no reason whatsoever, I'm sharing this as I think it looks nice. A bit arty-farty but interesting.
Image

There you go gents - my profile updated after such a long time. Thanks so much to everyone who flogged me the bits and pieces. I think we've nearly rebuild this car with the amount of parts we've put on it over the past three years :D I think she looks fab. Hope you do to. Thanks, Si. ;)

And I keep my old saw blades at the office for display. It'd be a waste to hide them away in a cupboard as they look so great.

Hi @gb-lude, thanks fella. I hear you on the Auto, what I'd give for a manual so I could 'control' it more but, it's not to be. Ta for your comments, much appreciated. ;)

On his keyring.

Car looks fab Si, and I'm not at all suprised by the lack of dirt and dust behind your dash ;)
