As far as I know there isn't another OBD1 swapped A20 in the UK, or has possibly ever been so should be cool. I think most people will still look in the bay and realise how much has been done whether they know the engine or not too which is nice.

Jo not if you're using nearly all OEM or what look like OEM conversion parts.

Any idea what to expect from the mods?

Awesome stuff Becca.
Engine and bay will be great when finished and I can't wait to see this on the road again.

There's a lad with a similar set up in US who's had his proven 170 something whp, which at a guess is over 180bhp maybe? but tbh all I'm hoping for is 150bhp, I'd be happy with that. 160 would be nice, anything more will be a bonus and it's even gone through my head to get it re-mapped for economy if it's putting out a LOT more than I expected, at least for now and while it's still running the auto box (that's for next year!).

I'm really pushing to get it to JAE for the stand! It has to be there :P hopefully there won't be too many issues once the engines in and I first turn the key.

Cool! That's potentially a lot of power for an Aerodeck, have you considered stiffening up the chassis? They twist pretty easily

Potentially yeah! All I've really looked into are the Chedda's Auto front and rear braces which I plan on getting but I'd need to make a custom order because I've modified the rear to fit 3g Lude coilovers so it would need to be 3G Accord width with 3G Lude coilover PCD, I don't know how much improvement they'll make though, any other suggestions are welcome?

I don't really want to be running anything close to 200 tbh  I just want it to be stock b16 power but with that a series torque! That's good enough in an 80s shooting brake ;)

Great work, excellent to see an unusual engine build like this!
And... like it or not, that is a great find on the bonnet bra/front mask, regardless :D

I don't like the look of how little metal is left between the elongated hole and the end of the suspension arm though! :?

There's only a couple mm less than stock and they'll always be fitted mounted at the other end of the holes closer to the mounting bolts so it shouldn't matter :) I did consider plugging that end by welding them up but it didn't seem worth it for a couple of mm.

Get a decent tooth lock washer on each side of each bolt and crank them right up once they're in position.
